Sundays are a great chance to be together as a Church family
Regular Services:
Sunday 10-30 a.m.
We have a time of worship all together before the children and young people go out to their groups. Followed by some more sung worship, a helpful reflection from the Bible, and a chance to respond/ receive prayer ministry.
At all of our services, we provide groups for children and young people where they can have fun and explore faith together.
Children aged up to Year 6 are part of our Adventurers group. They start the service with everyone, and go to their group about 1/2 hour into the service. They have a time of free-play, a focus around a Bible passage, and a chance to respond with craft or games.
Young people in Year 7 and above are part of our Devotion group. During their group time, there is always a chance for some icebreaker games, sharing news from the week, before studying a passage from the Bible.
On 3rd Sundays, Devotion don’t have a separate group and instead join a serving team in our main service.
All of our team are DBS checked and are passionate about helping children and young people grow in their relationship with God.
We share in tea, coffee and light Refreshments after the service.
On 2nd Sundays we share communion together.
What to expect.
Everyone has questions before they try something new. We’ve tried to answer some of the common things that people want to know.
What is a service like?
In our Sunday morning service you will find something for everyone, both new visitors and regular members. preachers including How long is your service?
Our Sunday services usually last around an hour and you are invited to stay for coffee and a chat afterwards.
Will I know what to do?
Most people find their first visit to church more informal than they expected. We’re a friendly group of people, and our services are set up so you can relax and get to know us as a church.
What about Communion?
Sharing bread and wine is an important part of our church community. It reminds us what Jesus did for us. We currently have Communion once a month. The bread and wine are served to you in your seat, we then eat and drink together.Everyone is invited to the Lord’s table – no-one is excluded
What about prayer?
Prayer is at the heart of our church life, and we believe that it can really make a difference in people’s lives. It’s one of the ways we can discover that God loves and cares about everyone and is with us always.
What should I wear?
Please dress as you feel comfortable.
What happens to my children during the service?
Children are welcomed at services, and after about 15 minuets they can join their groups down stairs.All our leaders have been DBS-checked. We have a full safeguarding policy in place, and review this regularly.
